A swimming pool has been designed to complement the beautiful tropical landscaping and ambiance of the resort. Strategically situated in the front of the main hotel building and surrounded by 6000 square feet of limestone that was thoughtfully designed to fit into the environment, facing the beach and reef making it another ideal spot on the resort for lunch, relaxation and evening cocktails.
The rooms are charming and comfortable. New tropical weight comforters and a selection of down pillows have been added to mahogany beds romantically draped in custom designed mosquito nets. Although all accommodations are air-conditioned the winter months offer cool island breezes which can be enjoyed from every room. To elevate to the standards of a small luxury hotel the rooms have been furnished with fine bed and bathroom linens, bathrobes, soaps and excellent amenities.
The Victoria House dining is elegantly casual, comfortable and with a relaxed Caribbean feeling and personal service. The restaurant offers a fusion of Caribbean and tropical dishes…anything from island breakfasts featuring lobster and eggs, homemade baked goods, to delicate fish tacos made from our guest's catch of the day. The specialty is the fresh seafood from the abundant Belizean waters: rock lobster, stone crabs claws, prawns and endless varieties of fish. Herbs are gathered from our own garden and fine wines are flown in from the Napa region.
The Admiral Nelson's bar is the island's most popular and is always inviting to relax and enjoy lunch on the wraparound verandah, tell fertile fish stories, share intimate sunset cocktails and light fare, or on weekends, dance to live music.
