Take a cultural trip to the Garifanos village and visit the manatey refuge where your likely to see howler and white-faced monkeys, iguanas, alligators, dozens of species of birds, and -with a little luck- manatees. We will be happy to pre arrange all your activities or if you prefer our activities director will assit you during your stay. Our guides are one of our most important assets at the Lodge. They are experienced billingual naturalist that will make all of your activities informative and adventurous.

No where else will you find natural watering holes with three tier cascading waterfalls, just minutes from your cabin. Enjoy a long leisurly swim, sit and relax and you may run into a tirra.

A fabulous working butterfly farm is located on the grounds of The Lodge at Pico Bonito. This farm consists of plant nurseries, a larva house, and a butterfly house and produces live and dried specimens for export to butterfly houses and collectors around the world.

Our restaurant, with its airy ambience and open views, offers exquisite Meso-American cuisine. The adjoining bar and terraces provide the perfect place to meet other guests and share tales of the day's adventures or simply relax with a book from our library. Fresh fruit juices and a complete bar and wine list will satisfy the most demanding of tastes.

Guest can also enjoy a day trip of snorkeling in the nearby Bay Islands just a 20 minute flight from La Ceiba. Our tropical spa features massages to help you relax and unwind making your trip complete.
